After Intro will provide extensive hands-on experience in saving and creating files and folders, while introducing word processing and spreadsheets to learn essential editing and operation techniques. After Intro will not make you an expert in any one application, but will make you comfortable with basic procedures required in almost all computer programs. If you have had some software experience and are unsure whether you have the essential fundamentals to proceed toward further computer skills, take this course. Good follow-up courses are any beginner or Level 1 software courses like Word 2007, Excel 2007, Access 2007 or either level of Top Job Market Skills. MS Outlook 2007 - A Must Have! ( )

Did you realize that this little email program is also a personal information manager? It maintains your contacts, calendar of events (appointments and reminders) and even maintains a log (journal) of events or uses of other programs. Where else could you go and visit any number of totally different email boxes? If you are connected to a server, do you know what extra features it can offer? Need to keep a to-do list, write a lot of post-its, or would you like to enhance your email with stationary? Outlook does all this and still filters out junk mail. And don't forget about the address book which is used in other Microsoft programs. Did you know that the contact data maintained in your address book can be made personal so others on the system can't see it?
